The Veteran Service Commission of Stark County provides vital support to honorably discharged veterans, their dependents, and survivors. Their services include emergency financial assistance for essentials such as rent, utilities, food, and medical needs. They also help veterans navigate and apply for federal and state benefits, including VA compensation, pensions, healthcare, and education programs. In addition, the commission offers transportation to VA medical appointments and supports families with burial and memorial assistance.
